Vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, or nymphoplasty is the procedure through which we aesthetically improve the female genital area. Many patients experience significant changes in this area that lead to aesthetic and functional discomfort.
Different parts of the female genitalia can be addressed. In the mons pubis, fat can accumulate, causing discomfort with certain clothing, so we perform liposuction to enhance its appearance. The labia majora may lose volume and become lax due to weight changes, pregnancies, and hormonal factors. In such cases, fat or hyaluronic acid can be injected to restore volume. The labia minora may also undergo significant changes, presenting asymmetries or excessive size that protrudes over the labia majora, hindering sexual pleasure and hygiene. In this instance, we perform precise resection of the excess tissue to rejuvenate the intimate area. Additionally, changes in the vaginal canal can cause sexual difficulties or urinary incontinence, which can be treated with CO2 laser or surgical techniques to reduce its dimensions.
It is common to combine various surgical and non-surgical techniques in a single procedure to address different conditions.
At Majestic Plastic Surgery, we believe that the final result largely depends on the surgeon’s concept of beauty. The combination of feminine and masculine perspectives and the presence of two surgeons during the same procedure ensures a superior view of body harmony, reduced surgical time, and unparalleled support, resulting in exceptional outcomes.
When it is recommended:
This procedure is indicated for patients with:
- Patients with excess fat in the pubis or mons pubis
- Lack of volume and laxity in the labia majora
- Asymmetry in the vaginal lips
- Large labia minora that protrud
- Urinary incontinence
- Difficulty achieving sexual pleasure due to increased size of the vaginal canal
- Lubrication issues

How It Is Performed:
We always conduct a pre-surgical consultation to determine the requirements and expectations of our patient. The procedure is performed in an operating room with complete asepsis and antisepsis.
- For liposuction of the mons pubis:Two access points are made to infiltrate a fluid mixture and extract localized fat.
- For labia majora augmentation:Fat is taken from another part of the body and transferred to the labia majora.
- For resection of excess tissue in the labia minora:Tissue is designed and dissected to reduce size and create symmetry.
- For vaginal canal improvement:Fractional CO2 laser or surgical resection may be used to decrease the size of the vaginal canal.
